We are proud to again be a headline sponsor for the CRA Conference in June. As a leading provider of our ChariotWeb charity EPoS solution, we are a committed supporter of the CRA and the wider charity community. To get to know us a bit better, here is some background information on who we work with and what makes us different.
Who are we?
We are a UK-wide charity and hospice customer base providing ChariotWeb – a cutting-edge specialist charity EPoS solution with full Gift Aid functionality. Since the launch of our first charity EPoS solution, Chariot, in 2006, we have continuously listened to our customers, invested and innovated to generate our latest market-leading iteration – ChariotWeb.
ChariotWeb is a dedicated charity retail solution that can maximise shop productivity, help boost Gift Aid donations and provide extensive technical support.
We also offer a cyber security service which takes a proactive and multi-layered approach to minimising risk and boosting recovery. According to the NCC Group’s Global Threat Intelligence team, ransomware attacks have increased by 91% in March 2023— which is the highest number of monthly ransomware attacks the group has ever measured. We show our utmost commitment to understanding and implementing the critical steps needed to keep all aspects of your business safe.
Driven by a mission to provide More for You
Our mission through ChariotWeb is to deliver ‘More for You’. More gift aid revenue. More volunteer support. More cutting-edge features. We know that if charities have more, they can achieve more. With over 30 years of experience in our field, we have built a powerful network of expertise, making the onboarding and deployment process seamlessly scalable, on demand.
We strive to continually respond to the changing needs of the dynamic charity sector. Our team thrives on developing cutting-edge solutions to make our customers’ roles easier, whilst helping them to release extra Gift Aid revenue through ChariotWeb.
Always listening to customers and innovating
At Nisyst, we always listen to customers, understanding their current needs and anticipating future needs. The team continuously looks at ways to improve and find new innovations to remain at the forefront of EPoS solutions for the charity sector.
We truly immerse ourselves exclusively in the charity sector, training both customers and non-customers in Gift Aid and working with HMRC to make the Gift Aid process more efficient and streamlined.
It’s important to us that our team fully understands the needs and technical abilities of all charity stakeholders – from volunteers to head office managers – and always challenge our thinking to futureproof our solution. Any upgrades and maintenance take place outside of charity working hours, meaning no downtime or interruptions. Volunteers can focus on what they do best – volunteering, and your managers on managing.
A unique account management approach
We are proud to have a dedicated account management team that is there, day in and day out, to support our customers. We are committed to building relationships and understanding and supporting our customer’s future plans.
The account management team doesn’t have a fixed account management agenda; it flexes to meet the needs of each individual customers and their preferred methods of working.
With all of this in mind, our goal is to always achieve complete satisfaction. Whatever is requested, we will always listen and help to find the best solution for our customers.
A culture comprising family values
As a family business with our customers always at the heart, we go above and beyond, forming strong, long-term partnerships.
Brothers Bob Chunilal (Managing Director) and Dave Chunilal (Technical Director) work very closely together as leaders of our business. Alex Chunilal (Senior Developer) is Bob’s nephew and also brother-in-law to Kalpesh Taratiya (Project Manager), while Shivangi Chunilal (Stock Controller) is Dave’s wife. Having family members working together in one business creates a co-ordinated feel for the rest of their team, setting an upbeat and friendly atmosphere. So, everyone works exceptionally hard, yet has fun!
Family values at Nisyst are essential to everything we do. The company culture is second to none, with everyone wanting to help each other out and look out for one another. It’s great to see complete honesty throughout the team – no one is ever afraid to admit a mistake and learn from it.
Our long-standing support for the CRA
We are thrilled to have won ‘Supplier of the Year’ (Category B) at the Charity Retail Association annual awards for the third time in 2022, as we always aim to place our customers’ needs and service first.
The team is delighted to be a headline sponsor and exhibitor at the CRA conference and exhibition this June.
As we continue to develop our ChariotWeb charity EPoS solution and service and provide Gift Aid training for the CRA via the Charity Retail Consultancy, our goal is to keep listening to our customers and supporting them in the best ways possible.
With over thirty years of experience developing EPoS systems, Nisyst is a family-owned business whose main mission is to make technology work harder for the charity sector.
