Leading provider of specialist EPoS solutions for the charity retail sector, Nisyst, have announced the quick and successful rollout of their ChariotWeb platform across Headway’s network of shops.
Headway is a charity that provides vital support to improve life after brain injury. With a total of 27 charity shops located in the North, Midlands, South East and Channel Islands, their retail activities play a key role in funding this work.
Nisyst are a UK-based technology company and developer of ChariotWeb – the UK’s most advanced cloud-based EPoS system built specifically for charity shops.
The rapid deployment of Nisyst’s ChariotWeb EPoS system means Headway’s retail operations now benefit from streamlined Gift Aid declaration, improved operational efficiency and enhanced reporting for both volunteers and staff.
“It has been a real pleasure to manage the Headway account as it transitioned from project delivery into business as usual. Our ChariotWeb platform already supports thousands of charity shops across the UK – and we’re pleased to now help Headway achieve their goals too!” says Chris Richards, Account Manager at Nisyst.
Headway appointed Nisyst in October 2025 following a competitive selection process and required the new EPoS solution to be implemented within a specified timeframe.
To ensure this timeline was met without disruption, Nisyst worked closely with Headway to carefully accelerate the delivery and oversee the implementation, configuration and training of their ChariotWeb system.
The full rollout was successfully completed before Christmas, ensuring the new platform was in place to help align with the charity’s broader business goals.
“Nisyst have been incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. From initial engagement through to rollout and beyond, the team have been supportive, responsive and easy to work with” says Ann Austin, Retail Operations Manager at Headway.
David Byrne, Head of Retail at Headway, adds: “What has really stood out is the level of support and the ongoing engagement from the Nisyst team. Their support desk has been excellent and the account management has remained consistently in touch, ensuring we feel fully supported as we moved into day-to-day operations.”
Established in 1991 as a technology provider, Nisyst have 35 years of EPoS experience and nearly two decades’ experience working within charity retail.
As industry experts and technology innovators, their team provide specialist support from consultancy and design, to implementation and after-sales.
The quick and successful rollout of their ChariotWeb system demonstrates Nisyst’s ability to work to tight timeframes, while still maintaining strong customer support through their dedicated account managers.
“We are proud to have supported the Headway shops in meeting their objectives. We’re looking forward to continuing to work closely together, ensuring they maximise the value of ChariotWeb to retain more income and improve operational efficiency across their retail stores” concludes Chris.
