Who we are and what we do

We work with charities and hospices across the UK, providing ChariotWeb — a purpose-built EPoS solution designed specifically for charity retail, with integrated Gift Aid functionality. Since launching our first charity EPoS system, CHARiot, in 2006, we’ve focused on listening to customers and evolving our technology. Today, ChariotWeb helps maximise shop efficiency, supports increased Gift Aid revenue, and delivers cutting edge functionality.

ChariotWeb aims to support charities by offering tools that help increase Gift Aid income, improve volunteer engagement and simplify daily operations. With over 34 years of experience in this sector, we provide scalable, on-demand onboarding and deployment to help make technology upgrades straightforward.

Innovation with real impact

A highlight this year is the recognition of TeamSafe — a module that is part of the ChariotWeb companion app, designed to keep volunteers connected and safe while working. The Children’s Society has been shortlisted in the Tech Award category for this module, reflecting its value in delivering practical benefits to charity volunteers.

Our ongoing commitment is to develop technology solutions grounded in the real needs of the charity sector. By maintaining close relationships with our customers, we continue to respond to their challenges and priorities. Alongside technology, we offer Gift Aid training and are the Gift Aid trainers for the Charity Retail Academy, as well as working closely with HMRC to streamline the Gift Aid process.
